On day 4 they rode about 15 miles and on day 5 they rode about 23 miles. Dad has caught a cold, probably something to do with those wet feet the first day. They are enjoying themselves, but ready for home and a shower!
Today they rode about 18 miles. Dad and T-Bone managed to find some quicksand. Fortunately it only went to T's belly and when Dad got off of him, he was able to work his way out. When they hit it, apparently they went in so quickly that Dad came forward and knocked his forehead on the horn of his saddle...ouch!
Mom and I pick them up tomorrow. Two dirty horses and two dirty men, ready for home.
