Dad and Michael arrived in New River today, tired, dirty, but having fun! I have never seen T-Bone & Nugget look so incredibly tired. Everyone is home, showered and relaxing.
This is Dad's second ride, and of course, Michael's first. Michael got initiated at the end of the ride (I am hoping I get some pictures from the Mountain Men soon, I didn't get to see it). A few guys grabbed Michael (they did this secretly to one at a time of the newbies). They held him up while someone poured beer down his backside, then Dad took the pleasure of "chapping" him. "Chapping" is taking the chaps (leather leg covers) and slapping Michael's now wet backside with the chaps. Michael took it well and laughed at it as part of the whole experience. Michael made new friends and really enjoyed his week of cowboying.
